Option 1: CERTAINBILT

Certainbilt  homes are constructed inside a climate-controlled facility by MyGreenCottage certified craftsmen who must meet 75 quality checkpoints along the way.  That means you can be certain your home is built to MyGreenCottage standards-guaranteed.  These structures are Energy Star compliant , meet heavy wind zone code requirements and come with our famous on-time on budget guarantee.  Because we build them inside a climate controlled facility, construction of your home can take as little as three months ( less than half of the time of a typical site-built home) and your Certainbilt home will never be damaged or delayed by weather.

Option 2: PERFORMA

MyGreenCottage's Performa Series wall section was featured on NBC's nationally syndicated show HouseSmarts.  We start with a steel stud made from recycled content and add expanded polystyrene (EPS) insulation.  Performa series homes are super energy-efficient, saves forest depletion and will help you get lower energy mortgage rates for your house.   In addition to being a superb choice for disaster-prone areas,  you can dramatically  reduce your energy bills and prevent mold and termites with a Performa Series home.  If safety and security are what you are after, these homes stand up to very heavy winds, fire an earthquakes better than a typical home.

Option 3: NRG-KING

What do you call a home that's 50% more energy efficienet  than a typical stick built home--even before you add any energy-saving features?  NRG-King, of course!  Using  award winning Insulspan Structural Insulated Panels (SIPS).  NRG-King homes are constructed on site using high-performance, solid, one-piece, pre-cut SIP units that are ready to install as wall, floor or roof components. Each SIP consists of a core of molded expanded polystyrene (EPS) insulation with engineered oriented strand board (OSB) laminated to the top and bottom faces. In addition to providing wall and roof assemblies with higher effective thermal resistance values (R-Value) the “closed cavity” design provided by the Insulspan SIP System combined with the MyGreenCottage method can result in a building with significantly lower air leakage which means low energy bills for you!

Option 4: INSULBILT

At the core of our Insulbilt wall system are ICFs—foam block forms filled with concrete.  According to the Insulated Concrete Form Association (ICFA), ICFs have become the fastest growing alternative to wood frame construction. ICFs can provide a high-performance shell that contributes significantly to downsizing HVAC systems and reducing energy consumption.  ICF construction offers a significant contribution towards achieving all 10 of the Energy & Atmosphere Credit 1 Optimize Energy Performance points for LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) points. The energy effectiveness of an ICF wall is due to the unique synergy of continuous insulation, virtually no air infiltration and the added thermal mass of the concrete wall. ICFs also stand up to heavy wind loads making them ideal for coastal regions where storms are a common occurrence.  In short, building with ICFs is like having storm insurance that pays for itself in energy efficiency!

The MyGreenCottage Pro-Wall system may resemble a traditionally-framed structure, but you know what they say about judging a book by it’s cover?  The saying holds true here, too.  Our Pro-Wall system features super insulators, radiant barriers and eco-foam sealants for an impressively tight, energy efficient building envelope.  The system also features a 2 x 6 sustainable wood frame core, low E/low-U windows and formaldehyde free insulation.  With our Pro-Wall system,  you can be sure you are getting an environmentally sound, High Performance Shell that’s healthy for you, your wallet and the planet.
